Some of my family traditions are going to Westgate Resorts in Park City, every summer. We stay at least three nights, and enjoy swimming, ping- pong, late nights, good food, shopping at the outlets and most of all ski- dooing on Jordanelle Reservoir. We go with the Reids; a long time friend of our family. Ski- dooing is my favorite part. We go on the second day, spending over ten hours in the sun. Next summer, I get to get my license to go on the water by myself. I'm way excited. Liberty, is only a couple years younger than I, and we enjoy going as fast as we can, and doing sharp turns and such. It's so fun!
One of the Christmas traditions my family has is that we have a pickle ornament, and "Santa" hides it on the tree. Early Christmas morning, whoever finds the pickle first get to open the first present. I think we adopted it from some foreign country, I'm not entirely sure though. We also get a huge bag of our favorite cereal. This is a treat; because we rarely get cold cereal. However, my favorite part about the 25Th, is movies! We rent and borrow all the movies we want to see, and spend hour after hour watching them! My sisters and I enjoy watching "Sense and Sensibility", "Jane Eyre" and "Pride and Prejudice." My whole family watches sport movie.
I enjoy my family traditions, but wish we had more.
